Mia Tulloch, a long time 12R24 member and steward, and her husband Jamie are very proud of their daughters these days and have graciously let us share their reason with you.
Daughter Mikaela received a Top Ten Point Earner Award for the second year in a row from Nipissing University while volunteering with NUSA (Nipissing University Student Association).
She is attending Nipissing University to study Criminology and Criminal Justice in the honors program. She has also spent the last Seven years volunteering at the Leukemia Bottle Drove, works at Camp Shadow Lake (Community Living Toronto), a camp for intellectually disabled individuals as well as working at the Beer Store in Aurora.
Daughter Amber received a volunteer service award of Ontario while working with Frontier College, an organization dedicated to education and literacy awareness for adults and children. She is attending Laurentian University to attain a degree in education as well as specializing in French studies. She has also spent the last seven years volunteering at the Leukemia bottle drive, also works at Camp Shadow Lake and the Beer Store in Aurora.
Once again thanks for sharing and we are proud they are members of 12R24 and follow in their mother's footsteps of volunteering and stepping up as a Member's Assistance Program rep along with always doing a great job at our annual Bottle Drive for Leukemia Research.
