Each year, 15 scholarships of two-thousand dollars ($2000.00) each are awarded to UFCW 12R24 members, or their dependents, who are attending full-time studies at a university, college or other recognized post-secondary institution.
To apply for the UFCW Canada the Local 12R24 Annual Scholarship, you or one of your parents, or your legal guardian must be a member in good standing of UFCW Canada Local 12R24 for at least the past six months. If you are selected, you will have to supply proof of your fulltime enrolment at a qualifying post-secondary institution, as well your Local 12R24 affiliation.
Applications for the UFCW Canada Local 12R24 Annual Scholarship Awards must be received no later than 11:59 p.m.,
