A few years ago John Bossio’s No. 14 jersey was retired by the Central Hockey League’s Odessa Jackalopes. Beginning in 1999, John spent five years with the Jackolopes, the first two when the franchise was in the Western Professional Hockey League. He retired as the franchise’s all-time leader in points and games played and is very proud that he was recognized by the team.

February 17/2006, Thorold Junior B Jaycees honored their champs from 1967-68. A banner commemorating the team’s accomplishments was raised at the Thorold arena.

In December/1976 Mike was on the world junior team that came home from Czechoslovakia with a silver medal. This was one of the highlights of Mike’s hockey career but did not go off without some “hitches”.
