On March 30/2014 Rob Hybsky, VP Region #7 and Jim Hewitt, MAP Rep Region #7, participated in the " Around The Bay" road race in Hamilton. The race is a 30 km race that originated on Christmas Day in 1894, the oldest road race in North America.
UFCW Canada's Region #6 Vice President Ray Moffett traveled to England in order for his son to compete in the World Jiu Jitsu Championship in Andover on September 27, 28 and 29th.
Four members of UFCW Local 12R24, Steve Dixon, Josh MacDonald, Rob Hybsky and Colin Murkin, took part in an Xtreme Warrior Chanllenge on Sunday September 22nd to raise money for Jesse Journey Charity for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
