Time is running out. Take action now to tell the Ontario government you object to the harmful proposal by 7-Eleven to sell beer and alcohol at dozens of its Ontario convenience store locations.
MILTON, ON – February 19, 2021 – UFCW 12R24 is calling on the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to reject the proposal by 7-Eleven to sell alcohol for on-site consumption at 61 of its Ontario convenience stores.
To all UFCW executive board members, staff, stewards, member volunteers, and their families, as well as The Beer Store management and staff: due to COVID-19 and provincial government recommendations on social distancing, as well as consultation with Ted Moroz, we regret to inform you that this year’s Leukemia Bottle Drive, scheduled for May 23, 2020, is cancelled.
We are pleased to let everyone know we are now accepting contract proposals for 2021 bargaining. We encourage and look forward to your input.
